It has been announced that Kevin Harvick, the driver of the Number 29 Chevrolet in NASCAR´s Winston Cup Series, has been given a contract extention through 2006 with Richard Childress. Harvick´s primary sponsor, Goodwrench has also agreed to back the driver for an additional three seasons. Harvick first stepped into the car in 2001, following the death of Dale Earnhardt, Sr.
