After starting his Winston Cup career 19 years ago, it would take Dale Jarrett 129 starts to achieve his first win in the series. That win came in 1991 at Michigan International Speedway. Since then, Jarrett has won several races and marked himself as one of the best drivers currently in stockcar auto racing. In 1999, he joined the elite group who have won the Winston Cup Series title and in 2002 he finished ninth in the final point standings in his Number 88 Robert Yates Ford Taurus.
