After facing the loss of his father in the 2000 running of the Daytona 500, Dale Earnhardt Jr. continues to establish himself as one of racing´s finest drivers in his Number 8 Budweiser Chevrolet. At age 17, Junior began his professional driving career, competing in the Street Stock division at Concord Motorsport Park in North Carolina. Co-owned with his brother Kerry Earnhardt, his first racecar was a 1978 Monte Carlo.
